Schools need to start kicking students out of school and banning trashy fans for good if they do this shite. I know Austin and Baton Rouge are basically third world shite holes run by degenerate fricks, but we need to police our trash better and make them suffer consequences for acting like primates when things don't go how they want them to.

Get your shite together fricktards!

Come on now….Boudreaux saved up all year for this. He cant help it that Brian Kelly is the coach.

Although I do agree there should be consequences, kicking a student out of school and potentially running their whole life (potential debt with worst job prospects, etc.) does not seem proportional to throwing trash on a field.

15 yard penalty against the home team every time and it will stop. Yes, even if opposing fans do it

I think taking the person’s season tickets for that year as a first offense (then two seasons and so on) is a good choice and having that team lose those seats for availability for post season games. I think the challenge will be if someone sold their ticket and that new person threw trash or if you for some reason did not go to the game and someone sat in your seat and threw trash.

Will the SEC force teams that do that to put up nets (MLB style) in front of student sections if it keeps happening? If you do it once the nets go up.

Or they will just let it happen so they can give the networks an extra commercial break.

Someone else said it. Once Texas got a call reversed because of throwing trash, everyone is starting to do it.

In the late 2000s, UA placed a massive jumbotron on the Quad for tailgaters without tickets.

Let's just say that turned out to be a bad idea which didn't live long.

You're probably right. I do forsee a future where a net surrounds the field to prevent trash and Field storming. It sucks but we all know this will happen somewhere.

I don’t see a net coming up. Could see moving students up into the nosebleeds. Or, just hire more security to patrol the students and ban anyone who throws trash from all athletic events for a year.

Happened in the tech and Colorado game as well. Tech coach had to grab a mic and ask students to stop throwing shite on the field. I agree it's getting out of control and the penalties need to be stiffer to cut this shite out.
