Do we even have one?
Head to head losses vs other 10-2 teams bama and ole miss. How many sec teams will get in?

Weird year in football, we can beat anyone and lose to anyone. Lane is light years better at o and ole miss had a huge advantage in the rain.

This bodes extremely well for a potential playoff game in December in Columbus or State College.

Have also lived in the Midwest. If they couldn't handle a little rain today, they definitely won't be able to handle it when it's 37 degrees and raining sideways in the middle of December.

As things stand, do I think we make a playoff run? No, I do not. Our offense is too impotent for us to expect to win against a really good team. The question was “what is our path to the playoff?”, and I was answering that.

As long as Beck is at the helm, we don’t. His attitude is reflected in the team.
There was no celebrating, nothing. This team had zero fire and zero desire. What culture was there is now gone, and I’d be willing to bet there are locker room issues.

At best we can be 4th SEC school in by winning out.
Ole Miss and Bama should win out and be ranked ahead of us.

The current playoff predictor (which I'm sure will change) is a dream scenario. At Penn State and the winner getting BYU. Of course if we play like we did yesterday, that's another story.

The real question is, what happens once (if) we get into the playoffs?

We have no idea what to expect. The defense is hot and cold and offense sputtering. We don’t have the leadership to snap them into line so it’s really going to depend on their attitude and what they’re willing to put into winning.
That said, we have to beat a TN team this weekend with a nasty DL and explosive potential. They would love nothing more than to beat us at home and like OM you can bet your arse they’ve been game planning this game all season.
