DC liberalism has swept through VA.

Good adds from the East:
UNC
FSU

Good adds from the West: (maybe)

Fixed that for you. Outside of the DC footprint Virginia is just as southern as any Southern state, and people in those areas consider themselves to be a part of the South. But the DC area is a whole different ball of wax.

100 years ago, yes.
Last couple times I've been there, they don't feel southern in values and lifestyle.
Course I'm mostly around Fredericksburg when I'm there

That’s the truth actual Virginians almost took it back from the DC scum last night

Exactly. Very similar to Fulton County carrying major sway over Georgia or how the center of Austin is so liberal but the donut around Austin and Texas in general is conservative.
And we almost got Virginia last night, too.

Afraid it’s not just DC. Places like Richmond and Norfolk have also grown and are pretty blue too.

Blacksburg aligns more with SEC culture - VPI would be the school to consider if one from Virginia is added -

How bout the team that has played 3 total SEC games while a conference member and is failing miserably to fit in, kindly refrain from commenting on what the SEC needs to do.
You have already destroyed the Big 8, SWC, and Big 12. The SEC does not need your opinion on what needs to be done.
Sorry guys, its just the Sips just jump right in and act like they have been here for years and it makes me cranky. It is kind of like someone coming over to your home for the first time and telling you what you need to change.

Virginia needs to give the area inside the beltway to Washington D.C. or Maryland and Virginia would be fixed.

Anyone even momentarily contemplating either of those two for SEC membership should be beaten.

Don’t add. Subtract the last 4 additions.

That was a fail. Going forward, I’m pretty sure the only shade being thrown at us will come from you clowns. And we know what clout y’all have.
Texas was hammered by Georgia. We learned our lesson. We will dust off and keep plowing forward. Our respect for the SEC has never been more solid, whether we say it or not.
OTOH, Texas has shown the SEC that we are indeed ready. Maybe not dominant, but we are good competition. We are finally entering the mutual respect phase. The next step will be the belonging phase.
The SEC will get tired of Aggie being the constant cry baby about Texas. Texas can not “kill” the SEC, these are all powerful schools - unlike the SWC, Big 12. And if A&M went away, the SEC couldn’t care less.
So stop crying. The A&M obsession of Texas is toxic for any conference.

No. They are at the tail end of a historic run. Gundy did wonders but had Boone to pay and that money is dried up and Gundy is offending everyone almost on purpose.
Once they push Gundy out they’ll never find another coach to stay long. And will drop down in stature. You would hate attending their home games.
