Lots of folks picking South Carolina this weekend

Pate penciled in the palmetto state pigskin pugilists as the top performers.
USCe can't lose.
It was a nice run, but South Carolina is coming in with motivation and confidence and having the full weight of a night crowd at Williams-Brice behind them. Makes sense for folks to pick USCe.

I think people realize you can’t throw the football very well, and beating a mediocre LSU team is over inflating how good A&M is. WBS at night is a tough game.

I will be surprised if A&M wins this game. I believe the game will probably end up being a pick by Saturday.

Let’s just cut to it. A&M is going to beat USCe, beat Barn, and lose to Texas.
But they’ll *still* go to the CCG, as Texas is going to slip up in Fayetteville.

Yes. UGA is also the only top 15 team who's played three current top 15 teams this year. We're 2-1 in those games (win over Texas and Clemson, lose to Bama). None of those 3 games were at home.
For comparison, Texas A&M has played one team currently in the top 15. They lost. At home.
There's a reason why UGA is ranked #2. The only other team with two top 15 wins also happens to be the only team ranked ahead of UGA. Oregon has wins over Boise State and Ohio State. Both of those were home games for Oregon though.

Fwiw, Espn's FPI (which I think is voodoo) has it 54% A&M to 46% SC.

SC is a tough place to play at night. Aggies are the better team, but we'll see come Saturday night.

I disagree. I like A @ M in this match up.
I really think South Carolina will miss 3 FG's and throw 3 Interceptions in their own territory.

We can throw it well ENOUGH. And that's all that;s needed if you have an offense that grinds it out enough on the ground until it crushes your will at some point. It happened to Ark; happened to MSU; happened to LSU; FL was never in it to begin, so different story.
This has been the story to date. We'll see if it holds.

The difference is, all of these defenses pretty much suck including uf, they are the bottom 4 in the conference. That's not the case with SC.

So, why would you throw if you can get 5 yards every time you run the ball? Yes, if you can make us throw it and stop this, go ahead. We will throw it. But until running it doesn’t work expect A&M to be very happy running the ball to win. It works very well.
