This loss is on Nuss?

Loss definitely falls on Nuss throwing 3 needless pics.

They know the throw is coming. There is nothing to to keep the DBs honest.

Nuss had 50 passing attempts. Thats way too many.
The running backs only had 22 carries. Thats way too few.
This loss is on the coaches.

Shitty play calling allowed Faggies to pin their ears back on Nuss. Horrible throws but he was put in too many shitty situations.

One game. We will know more about LSU after two weeks

A&M 242 rushing yards
LSU 24 rushing yards
If you can run the football at will, you control the game. This hasn’t changed in 100 years of football.

OL hasn't been able to run block all year. Nuss still shouldn't have lazily thrown picks though.

And the OL. They tried running the ball. They just couldn't.

The loss is squarely on KELLY.
Nuss had ZERO help. Coaches have no clue at LSU right now.
Elko looks brilliant. Kelly like an arse.

We didn’t make the necessary adjustments on defense after the QB and scheme change. Until then, we would have won the game with 5 yards rushing because A&M couldn’t do anything on offense.
Combine the new QB and scheme we couldn’t stop with all the picks and special teams miscues and there you have it. Not being able to run the ball is still an issue, but not the biggest reason we lost.

I don't think he was "lazily" throwing pics. A&m chose to rush 4 minimum, sometimes 5 or more and ratcheted up the pressure. He forced 2 throws and the other was a good bait by the DB....iirc he was running on all throws. Pressure causes that.
I still believe he is in the top 3 of SEC quarterbacks.

LSU averaged 1 yard per carry

Your OL was soft and couldn't protect him. Aggie DL was breaking one off in them in the second half.

The loss is on the coaches. Period.

Nuss is not a real run threat. Defense crashed every time he handed the ball off. Could he have pulled it for the zone read? Yeah, but he didn't. I don't blame them for passing 50 times a game. Also, our center and guards were getting owned by A&M DL. We didn't try to run any jet sweeps, counters, or power pitches.

I must say, and I'm surprising that I am saying this, but Elko has shown that he can strategize well.
He didn't strike me as much of a strategist pre-season. That's all we need on tRant....more Ags participating in threads because they have a good foootball team.
I'd much rather post roller coaster furk memes of Ags falling off the roller coaster cliff instead. Just for good measure, an Ag meme:

It's really not on Nuss.
When a team gets in position where they HAVE to pass every down, the QB is going to turn the ball over even if they're good unless the opposing defense is truly pathetic.
A solid QB will get yards and TD's to go with those INT's. A bad QB won't.
UGA when they got down against Bama had to throw. Beck had 3 INT's... to go with 439 yards and 3 TD's. LSU had to throw because they COULDN'T run. Nuss had 3 INT's to go with 402 yards and 2 TD's.
Both cases are solid QB's put in bad situations and doing okay in those situations, but not good enough to win.

I kept expecting Baker to make an adjustment after the first couple of series.

The strange thing is that each team was one dimensional that second half.
