Head Referee Matt Loeffler should not ref any Texas games.

He lives in Texas.
His business Loeffler Supply is in Texas.
His brother graduated from Texas.
His son graduated from Texas.
His decision to overturn the unreviewable PI to the benefit of Texas after Texas fans showed their anger is sus as hell.
How many customers or clients was he thinking about losing had he followed through with the original, unreviewable call? Currently, all his company’s social media are down.
The SEC cannot allow this Texas businessman to ref Texas games.

The lead referee for the LSU/Arkansas game was Daniel Gautreaux from Lafayette, LA.

We never had that many penalties in a game this year.

This is the kinda crap we (A&M) were talking about. There have been several instances with different teams where officials were not objective and Texas benefitted from a total WTF ruling.
The call this past weekend was the most egregious I’ve seen. Even if he had no affiliation to Texas he should be fired for incompetence.
To be clear the call was correct (no PI) but reversing the call that late and the trash throwing the precipitated the reversal was a horrible look and is a bad precedent.

Imagine if Loeffler had done right & after Texas fans threw bottles onto the field, he threw a 15 yard unsportsmanlike on the Texas crowd.
