The Trojans are 3-4 over all and 1-4 in conference play in the Big 10. They have so far lost to a very average Meatchicken team, a mediocre Minnesota team, the pretenders at Penn State with their fairytale lion, and just this past weekend the "juggernaut" that is Maryland.
Ooof.
It remains to be seen how many more wins USCw will have, but clearly there should be serious concerns about Lincoln Riley. While the QB play has been what one expects, the team effort as a whole is lackluster and as a result they will be lucky to be bowl eligible when the season ends.
It really makes you wonder how BAD teams are that have lost to USCw really are.
Like the University of LSU.
You corndogs really think we forgot? You really think you can just push this out of memory?

LSU would probably be ranked #1 in the country if it hadn't dropped that game, we are well aware. At least it has righted the ship. Good luck to Florida the next four weeks, except for when it plays LSU.

Riley will scoot off to the NFL soon.
The offensive “gurus” types in college are possibly the gayest most egotistical avatar of all the college football coaches. A complete inability to understand how to field a great defense. Jerking off to their own “innovative offensive systems” and putting 600 yards of offense in meaningless games and then constantly being exposed when facing a team with a pulse on defense. These guys are almost all the same.

Openers are iffy. LSU probably really needs to rethink their strategy when scheduling future openers.
We don't get exhibition games in CFB. That's what the openers are supposed to be for Tigahs. Y'all get that, right?

No. We open with Clemson the next two years.

I'm crying into my bowl of tied-for-first-place cheerios.

Believe me, our fans are ready for it to stop as well. But we have to wait a couple of years because we open up next year at Clemson and then they come to death Valley in 2026. And now they’re starting to play a good football again. Gotta love it.

Yep, if LSU had opened with some of the teams other SEC powers started the season with, it would be undefeated.

Haven't you heard of my guarantee pick for the LSU-Florida game? I have already picked Florida to beat LSU.

LR treated the LSU game as his super bowl. Used all off season to scheme because he wanted fo beat an SEC team.
LR had regressed the OU program every year he coached there. People didn’t want to believe it but its true. And then gutted it on way out as he and his agent were scheming on his departure most of his last season there. He has a massive buyout at USCw so they are stuck with him for some time.
If LSU played USCw today, LSU would win in a blowout. Game 1 of season was peak USCw where LSU was at low point and would improve as year went on.

And allowed a Year 1 coach to torch the LSU secondary for the most passing yards in an SEC game with a QB who couldn't even keep his starting job through the rest of the season.
