Well, frick me. If LSU is so bad, being 6-1 with a win over a team that, at the time, was a top 10 team...then how bad is Florida?

Sure, the wheels could fall off for LSU, but at least for now, there are actual signs of improvement.

FWIW - trolling another team that's currently at the top of the standings while yours is in the shitter couldn't be a bigger sign of trying to "cope."

It's not like USCw is a bad team and getting blown out every weekend.
They have problems closing out games and a lot of the results could be different if a ball bounce goes a different way here or there.
All of the losses and the LSU win were one possession games:
W - LSU by 7 (Neutral)
L - @ Michigan by 3
L - @ Minnesota by 7
L - vs PSU by 3
L - @ Maryland by 1
If any of the 2 or 3 forced fumbles get recovered by LSU in the opener instead of bouncing right back into hands of USCw, LSU likely wins.
Granted, LSU could easily have another loss @ USCe if refs make a different call here or there.
