I just get the feeling that DeBoer is going to be fired or take job somewhere else to get out of this situation within 3 years. This staff seems in over their heads. If you think the talk this week is toxic just wait to see what happens when they drop a few more SEC games...especially if they lose the Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa.

Their families are going to want to nope right out of this place...whatever of their family is here, I think DeBoer's daughter is still in the Seattle area and never changed her softball commitment to UDub.

I mean it's been a long time since we have gone through this. Too early to judge at this time, we don't know where it is headed

But maybe step back from the ledge slightly...

We just need to let him hang around long enough to see if he can turn it around, or to find out if the dude in Indiana is the real deal.

If we start firing dudes after after a year nobody worth a damn is going to want to come here.

All this could have been prevented had he not settled with the trash we have at QB now and snagged one in the portal.

There is not a coach in the country that would win with Milroe right now.

Totally get that. However Shula teams weren’t even this undisciplined and stupid. They just weren’t talented. I haven’t seen Alabama like this since Dubose.

What’s the alternative? Going 8-4? We seem to have that wrapped up already. If Deboer announced he was leaving tonight I can’t fathom why anyone would be upset.

“BUT MILROE”

Who is playing Milroe?

We've been a stupid, undisciplined team for a minute now. It's more just the general vibe of unpreparedness and lack of mental readiness to play a game that has me concerned. We have played about 2.5 games of competent football, it's almost November, and everything is trending in the wrong direction. I'm just not seeing it being a long relationship with a happy ending right now. A lot of us wanted the #1 coach on campus fired after shitting the bed against Western Kentucky though, and that has ended up OK.

It's uncharted territory in college football. This era is gonna be a cluster all over.

I wish I could down vote you more. This team has way more talent on it than that rag tag group we had in 2007.

8-4 may not be wrapped up. 7-5 is a possibility depending on the makeup of this locker room and I'm not positive on their makeup given what I've seen at the mid-season mark.

That would be another level of frustration considering how badly Auburn has been playing.

I'm trying to be upbeat that this year is equivalent to Saban first year and good thing are to come.
If that warrants a down vote then so be it

The program has been trending down since the players became unrestricted free agent professionals. That’s the problem and really, what team is dominating right now?

Got to give Deboer time to see what he can do with a quarterback that can throw first

How often is the guy that follows the guy, the guy? That’s the case here, though. Deboer has the same commitment to excellence as another star who coached in this state a few years back…but instead of disciplinarian, he’s the players bud, so it will work out even better.
