DeBoer has two straight games of very poor QB play to justify giving his backup a shot. I doubt the players would mutiny after that showing by Milroe tonight.

I hope so but I don’t feel like he will

Why not?

Milroe can't even make an accurate throw if the crowd gets loud enough

Zero chance. Saban faced a mutiny when trying to do this. You're insane if you think DeBoer could get away with it.

I don't see Deboer as the kind of coach that is going to make that move.

0.000000000000000% chance.

This staff doesn't have the balls.

Seconded. It’s idiocy to think this is an option… he’s arse but he’s not getting benched.

I’d love to see it but I guarantee you if he did, some players would flat out mail it in and do crap like not pass protecting, intentionally dropping passes, half heartedly running the ball.

I remember last year in the USF game when he was in, there were several times he took a lick. None of his teammates helped him up. That was a giant middle finger to CNS for not starting Milroe and letting everyone know what was going to happen if Milroe didn’t start the rest of the way.

No, we’ll limp in with 4-5 losses, Simpson will transfer, and we’ll lose a bunch with a true freshman QB next year.

They really don't, and you're not gonna convince me we don't have a better quarterback behind him.

Yep.
RW is gone if Milroe is benched, probably gone anyway…

He's going to face a mutiny if he loses the next two games to Missouri and LSU due to Milroe's inability to hit open receivers. And who's to say Ty won't quit the team in the middle of the year to transfer like other players have been doing? I wouldn't want to stick around either if I wasn't given an opportunity over an inadequate QB like Milroe.

Zero chance. I think that there is zero chance of him starting this season unless Milroe gets hurt.

All the wide receivers and tight ends should be pissed with him at quarterback because he can't showcase their abilities.

Milroe needs a OFFENSIVE SCHEME to spray! He's not a natural quarterback.

Ty Simpson is a sprayer and a thinker naturally.
