Doesn’t matter I’m just curious how does Notre Dame jump 3 spots on bye above LSU who also was on bye?

USC loss at neutral site worse than Northern Illinois at home?

Because the refs, the media, the NCAA, and the SEC hate LSU and conspire against them

That's ridiculous...but the sports media always wants to suck ND's dick.

Because they won’t play anyone the rest of the year and LSU has a full SEC slate ahead.

It’s a sympathy bump.

Notre Dame is always higher ranked than they should be. This is why they constantly get destroyed in the postseason, they have no business playing in the games that they land in.

There's a reason they haven't won a major bowl game in my lifetime.

And don't forget the 'fans' hate them too.

Because the media and sports writers always give ND every benefit. Anytime they string 2 wins back to back they are on the way to a natty. It never changes. The rules always favor them. They can make the playoffs without being in a conference and having to go thru a conference championship game.
Can you even imagine letting any other school to do this?

ND has a win against a ranked team that just kicked the shite out of Mizzou.

USC lost and A&M knocked off a top 10 team and rose in the rankings

No point in worrying about a meaningless poll
LSU resume would dwarf notre dame if both teams should win out
Irish have one more ranked opponent

ND is a media darling and has one of the largest t-shirt fanbases in college football. Moving them up means higher ratings/revenue for NBC.
