It’s been a while since I have seen a game that loud in person. Not sure how it came across on TV, but it was rowdy early. There was a moment of shell shock when we lost the lead, but that RW TD blew the lid off.

It sounded amazing on TV. Last year’s LSU game was as electric as it has been for a while but those who were there last night said it was 2005 Florida level of energy/noise.

ESPN cut down the crowd noise quite a bit, but it was obvious how loud it was.

There was no hiding how insane it looked when RW scored and Brown sealed it with the pick. My family told me it felt like a record attendance as well, people crammed in everywhere.

I don't know why they do this.

I understand that they want perfectly clean audio to hear the announcers, but from time to time they oughta capture the crowd noise.

These are the loudest venues in America, and possibly the world. It would be cool to actually hear what they sound like without being super processed and muted.

This is one of the few videos I've ever seen that actually depicts the real crowd noise. We need more of this:

Loud as Rocky Block, 2005 Florida, 2008 Auburn.

Best gameplay environment on campus since 2019 LSU.

I had a friend who was at the game on Saturday night and he consistently texted me telling me how electric the place was.

Josh Pate , if you don’t know who he is, find out, said Bryant Denny now has the best atmosphere in college football.

It was absolutely electric. I must have text Saint that 5 times.

When the team came out to Thunder I thought the building was going to crumble. The place went absolutely nuts. Top that off with 4 F35’s and Donald Trump and it was insane. I’ve been to no shite over 100 Alabama games I have never seen this.

Josh Pate eats boogers. He is not wrong about the atmosphere at BDS.

He's not wrong. That was the most consistently loud crowd I've ever been a part of. The crowd has actually been really loud now for about 3 or 4 years. I believe the in-game entertainment has helped but also we aren't as dominant defensively as we used to be which makes the games a little more nerve wracking longer than we used to have it. Anyone that says BDS isn't intimidating hasn't been to a game in several years and their opinion is worthless.

On a side note, why were there so many Tennessee fans there? I think I saw at least 5 people with that gaudy orange on. It's weird. I would never go to an opponents stadium we weren't involved in and wear crimson. But I guess more power to them as that is kind of ballsy/stupid

I was doing my part. My throat hurts and my voice is weak, but it was worth it.

It's best not to try and understand the psyche of a Tennessee fan. You'll see things you don't wanna see.

The camera shook on TV when Ryan scored the go ahead touchdown.

2005 Florida was so loud. My ears were ringing for two days afterwards.

Slotted in as my second favorite game in person behind 05 UF. Not sure anything will top 05 UF for me personally.

I was a student at Bama from 05-08 and it was by far the wildest atmosphere I've ever experienced.

Do they not do the light wave anymore or did people get bored with it?

Bands too. Seems like you used to be able to hear them quite clearly, but not in the last decade or so. Definitely takes away from the viewing experience

CBS and Fox are way better at capturing stadium atmosphere than ABC/ESPN

I barely had a voice yesterday and I'm still feeling pretty rough this morning, totally worth it. The home crowd has definitely changed over the past few years. After graduating and moving out of the student section, you almost felt bad for standing up and yelling at some points. Everyone was standing in my section for most of the game Saturday night. It was a great atmosphere, and I feel the complacency has also washed away.

The “sit on your hands and tell people to sit down in front” crowd is finally getting too old to go to the games, especially night kickoffs

The crowd has been remarkably better over the last 2-3 years

Bryant-Denny was full throttle that day. I lost my voice for at least three days after.

That rammer jammer still gives me goosebumps.
