Mizzou. Not only no TD's, but have allowed no points.

Ole Miss. Given up 3 points in 2 games.

UGA. Given up 3 points in each game. Of note... one was against a ranked opponent.

Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Texas were very close. Each has given up a single TD.

Most impressive is Missouri.

UGA hasn’t played anyone.

The offense gave that one up on a pick 6.

LSU gave up 21 to NICHOLLS STATE. They also qualify as a no one.

I think it's still impressive to give up no points in two games.

Nicholls scored more points in the first quarter against LSU than two different teams have against Ole Miss combined across 8 quarters.

I did say "team" not "defense".

Not everyone can play and beat NFL quality teams like Tennessee Tech.

The Falcons backup quarterback’s brother was a redshirt freshman on the team. Real talent.

Arkansas' Defense went 7 quarters without allowing a TD this year...

And somehow we still gave up 39 points.

Yeah but the offense is in shambles.

Odd statement directed to a fan of UGA.

UGA played Clemson this year. Beck threw 0 picks. Clemson has a better defense than NCSU (against whom Nico threw two picks).

UT's defense hasn't allowed a single TD.

So? Lots of teams open with cupcakes and yet no FBS team has opened with consecutive shutouts since 2019.

That's nice.

This thread is about teams giving up points, not units. UT's offense is part of their team.

You can start your own thread about defenses if you like.

Still a huge boost for us from a historical perspective. We have always struggled with shutouts against cupcakes.
