Atlantic:
South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Auburn

Southwest:
Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arkansas

Gulf:
Alabama, Mississippi, Miss State, LSU

North:
Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt

That would give every team 3 permanent rivals. We’d also play 9 conference games every season

Mizzou and Tennessee really get it tough on the Gridiron huh ?

And we aren’t going to ever have an Atlantic Division. It would be called the Far East Division before they gave it an ACC Division name.

Takes me back to the days of aTm and Arkansas posters forming the now defunct Southwest clique. Arkansas fans flooding the board again during basketball season will be fun.

Well, for one thing you didn't make the divisions very "equal" now, did you?

Two divisions with no blue bloods and one division with two?

Gulf may only have 1 “blue blood”, but they have two programs that combined for 9 titles in the last two decades

Easily the toughest looking division here

Also affords the ability to rotate through every team in the SEC every three years.

Makes too much sense to actually happen.

The three most dominant teams in the modern era are Alabama, Georgia, LSU. You have to start by separating those three.

Bold talk from a supporter of a team that hasn’t won a co-conference championship in 55 years

Div 2: Texas, Auburn, Florida, Tenn
Div 3: Mizzou, Tamu, OM, KY
Div 4: Miss State, Vandy, SC, Ark

the four pod / 9 conference game model is effective in seeing them all play each other. Two games vs teams in the other pods, alternating home and away for two years, and then switch to the other two teams for another two.

At least every four years you will see every other team in your stadium.

The obvious solution is for Oklahoma to take one for the team and join Missouri in the East and play Texas as its permanent cross-division rival.

Alabama / Tennessee
Auburn / Georgia
Arkansas / Missouri
LSU / Florida
Ole Miss / Vanderbilt
Mississippi State / Kentucky
Texas / Oklahoma
Texas A&M / South Carolina

Every important game preserved.

Your Southwest division is not equal.

Meanwhile, you stick Missouri with an easy division. You wish.

Arkansas should rule that division. Quit being a bitch.
