1 - We run the ball so much, having the leading receiver in the league probably isn't in the cards.
2 - We have too many other targets for Burden to get enough catches.

not a bad pick.

He's really the only experienced wr coming back for LSU, and he's a big, fast target. And we expect Nussmeier is gonna push the ball down the field; might need to if the defense doesn't improve.
Lotta things lined up for a big season out of him

Take off those P&G glasses. I like Lacy to have a good year or even a big year but he is not going to lead the SEC in rec yds. The problem LSU has is we have multiple options and will likely spread the ball around and have no idea who the QB favorite target will be. I am personally expecting more TE targets this year.

I think Lacy can be Top 5 or 10. Just dont think he will be the bell cow for the WRs.

I like Luther Burden but he may be a marked man if he does not have help. Cooks will get it to him to some degree.

Sleeper in the list... CJ Daniels, 1000 yd receiver last yr but not in P5. We will have to see what he brings to the table

Ole Miss with 2 of top 3 in WR odds can only mean that Lane is truly going to run the damn ball.

Lol, we have the deepest WR room in like...maybe ever? Also a 3rd year QB who was one of only 2 in history ranked 1000. coming out of high school. Yet you only chose two.

Our offense is scary. Dart in year 3 of same HC/OC. Harris and Watkins are known commodities. Juice Wells is an absolute game changer if healthy. Prieskorn might be the best all around TE in the league now. Bently is probably the most underrated back in the league. Parish was a 6 yds/ carry back at Miami. Diggs will get healthy for the stretch run and is a solid SEC back.

Lane fixin to eat.

I don’t know where to begin to correct these statements, but I will go with:
I didn’t set the odds.

We’ve only had 1 receiver in history go over 1,000 yards and that was 20+ years ago. I believe he just passed it too with 1,004 yards or something like that

I’m not betting on a UGA guy. Also, we spread the ball around waaaay to much

That means whoever did is an idiot. They put 4 aggy receivers on there in spite of the fact they don't have an o-line to give Wiggy time to throw.

Edit- everyone assumes Isaiah Bond leads in receiving for us, but that won't necessarily be the case.

No offense, but it sounds like you're the one with the purple and gold glasses on.

The fact is, LSU has 1 established WR returning, a guy who was the clear #3 ahead of the others coming back. And he's physically gifted, his only hole was the drops (which seemed to get better over the course of the season).
I would LIKE others to emerge and challenge him for the #1 spot, but as of now they're all unknown commodities.

The SEC better get Williams this year. That guy will be roasting DB’s on the regular when he gets some experience.
