Texas A&M Football Schedule 2024

Aug. 31 vs. Notre Dame - W
Sept. 7 vs. McNeese - W
Sept. 14 at Florida - W
Sept. 21 vs. Bowling Green - W
Sept. 28 vs. Arkansas - W
Oct. 5 vs. Missouri - L
Oct. 12 Idle
Oct. 19 at Mississippi State - W
Oct. 26 vs. LSU - L
Nov. 2 at South Carolina - W
Nov. 9 Idle
Nov. 16 vs. New Mexico - W
Nov. 23 at Auburn - L
Nov. 30 vs. Texas - W

A&M is going 9-3 and giving the finger to all the 8-4 naysayers. Notre Dame is going to wilt in the central Texas sun, and I think they nip the sips, but get tripped up at Auburn looking ahead.

If that Mizzou game was on the road I'd agree, but that game being at home makes me think the Aggies get the win. That trip to Auburn definitely has me nervous at this point. Just don't know what you are going to get from either team in that game.

Y’all barely have above a .500 winning percentage versus SEC teams at Kyle. The 12th man aura is a massive lie

W/L % isn't just on the fans. Kyle is a tough environment for sure. The fans show up and are very vocal.

We’ll see if LSU casually walks away with a win in that “lie” this year. Les Miles isn’t walking through that door.

Funny coming from a fan of a team who has lost their last three games at Kyle.

When was the last time LSU won in Kyle Field, again?

What he did at Duke was impressive...now he has 10X the talent across the board. I could see them being a surprise team this year and winning 9 games...I just don't think TX will be one of them.

Based upon the following...

- Elko has little experience as a HC and will take years to ramp up to SEC level head coaching.
- Players are getting used to a whole new coaching staff and playing scheme...could take a year minimum to learn.
- Weigman has not played regulation ball in a long time and will be hearing footsteps any time he drops back (injury prone).
- Same OL as last year and they are very bad.

With all these growing pains I predict they go 5-7.

Aug. 31 vs. Notre Dame - L
Sept. 7 vs. McNeese - W
Sept. 14 at Florida - L
Sept. 21 vs. Bowling Green - W
Sept. 28 vs. Arkansas - L
Oct. 5 vs. Missouri - L

Oct. 26 vs. LSU - L
Nov. 2 at South Carolina - W
Nov. 9 Idle - L
Nov. 16 vs. New Mexico - W
Nov. 23 at Auburn - L
Nov. 30 vs. Texas - L

I agree with most of what you have proposed.

I think A&M gets at least one of those three losses however.

Mizzou should be good this year but it will be tough for them in Kyle.

LoSerU has lost in their last three trips to Kyle even though they were favored in all three games.

Auburn has just been bad for awhile.

Florida should be interesting at home. We seem to have trouble there at times when we shouldn't.

I am a little worried about donghorn U. Last game of the season. It will depend somewhat on who we have left standing at that point. It will not be an easy game.

We have a lot of unknowns with the new coaching staff and portal additions & subtractions, but looking at the schedule today, it does look fairly manageable. All of our hardest games are at home, road games are against weaker teams.

I fully embrace the Rant’s 8-4 joking about us. I think your prediction is fairly close but we drop a game we shouldn’t, possibly drop 2 we shouldn’t, but win 1 we shouldn’t as well. But I think 8-4 to 9-3 is a fairly accurate area for this year. We shall see.

Hasn't A&M lost all road games the past 2 seasons? They might break that streak with this year's UF team if we dont get our act together.
