Question for Texas and Oklahoma fans

What have you learned so far re: SEC fan bases, at least on tRant? Who has surprised you? Who is the most arrogant? Which fanbase shows class? Which fan base did you not realize was so unhinged, and why is it Tennessee?

1.) Mizzou as a Big 12 member - votes for schools to retain their 3rd tier and to be able to start their own networks.
2.) As a Big 12 member, MIzzou freaks out about the LHN because of concerns that the LHN would show high school football highlights and give Texas an unfair recruiting advantage. Mizzou screams to everyone that Texas is selfish, even though the LHN never showed high school football highlights.
3.) All the while, Mizzou has a local NBC affiliate on its campus, that it controls, that shows high school football highlghts.

I don't really think too much about Tennessee. They might as well be Missouri or Kentucky.
I did miss shitting on TAMU and Arkansas and am excited to have them both back on the schedule.

I'm actually really surprised at the vitriol between Missouri and Texas...Oklahoma vs Missouri seems to be much milder.

I see no difference between the arrogance of the texsa fanbase and the arrogance of the SEC fanbases quite frankly.

I've really enjoyed most all of the fan bases so far...i like how passionate tenner is, this missisppi schools seem pretty cool, same with alabama schools, georgia fans are pretty solid, i even have grown fond of the lsu bunch...everyone's taking pot shots at the new guys, and that should be expected...but misery and a&m are still fricking weird.

I have not been around this board long and first impressions might not reveal the true essence of different fans.
That said, most are reasonable and prideful of their school.
I am surprised by the mouthy Missouri contingent given their history.
Not surprised by some of the aggie comments since they were similar in the Big 12, but they do have a gripe about texsa.
Finally, I am not at all surprised by the exceptional egos of the texsa contingent. Their major accomplishments after 1970 are 1 NC and destroying TWO conferences.
With apologies to Churchill; Never have so many bragged so much about so little.

Almost everyone seems legitimately excited so far, which has been a bit surprising. Mizzou and A&M fans have naturally been the most insecure about the whole thing.
