Not sure where this negative DeBoer talk has come from. He has won everywhere he's been and you don't do that without some combination of evaluation, recruitment, and development.
I couldn't see Alabama do much better than him other than convincing Saban to stay on longer or stealing Kirby Smart.

DeBoer is a good coach, we all know that.
But he isnt Nick Saban, and he will never be Nick Saban. The sooner you figure that out the better off you'll be when you're not winning a national title every other year like you were under Saban.
It's going to hit some of you bama fans pretty hard, but I know there's realistic ones that know it's not going to be the same. It's going to be A LOT harder realization after 4 years when you maybe have 1 title in that time frame that's he's just another good coach but not a GOAT type.

I know it probably seems that way when your team sucks, and you're getting your arse kicked by Saban every single year, but Saban only won 1 natty in the past 6 seasons.
This idea that we have these CRAZY expectations. I think it's completely reasonable for Alabama to expect a title every 5 seasons or so, and I think DeBoer is more than capable of delivering that.
Our dominance will continue in recruiting and on the field. It'll be like Saban never left
