Tremendous players, all 3 of them. I’ll admit, i was kind of surprised that Charlie has a better fielding percentage than Bazzana (granted Travis plays a typically more active position at short so more room for error)

Hagen struck out Bazzana the 3 times he faced him in Arlington earlier this year.
It was a great matchup to watch.

Each one would probably win any other year. They just happened to play in the same season.
Congrats Charlie

With how Smith ended his year it's gotta be Condon.

Condon has objectively better stats in a harder conference.
I think it is his to lose and it might be a landslide.

Caglianone had a much better year this year than last year and isn't a finalist.
I would be fine if he lost, but this is a sham.

No Cags?
And Christian Moore deserved to be a finalist also. While Smith is deserving, he only plays once a week.
Cags prolly best 2 way player in the country.
Moore- hit for the SEC Triple Crown in the SEC. He’s the first player to hit for the SEC triple crown to not be conference player of the year.
C-Mo:
BA- .378 (.429 in sec #1)
Slg- .780
OPS- 1.229
HR- 29 (20 in sec #1)
RBI- 67 (41 in sec #1)
Runs- 70
Hits- 98
Cags:
BA- .410
Slg- .874
OPS- 1.374
HR- 33
RBI’s- 63
Runs- 75
Hits- 94
Pitching:
W/L- 5-2
ERA- 4.57
K’s- 76
I just think Cags and Moore should have been ahead of Smith. Smith is best pitcher, no argument. But he only plays once a week where as everyone else are every day.

I agree. He should absolutely be a finalist.

Not really.

He won the triple crown in SEC play. He definitely has an argument

And Kentucky will have played all of them by the end of the post-season.

His stats aren't as good as the other guys and Cags is a two-way player.
He's a great player, but he's not a finalist this year. There were some outrageous stat lines this season.

Lots of great players that you can make an argument for, but these 3 are very deserving.
One stat that I will toss out for Cags, he hit 31 homeruns, and only struck out 23 times. Last season he hit 33 homeruns, but he struck out 58 times. Heck of an improvement for a guy that didn't have much protection around him this year, unlike last season.

Not really. The Golden Spikes is about the entire season and he only won the SEC triple crown because of this:
Walks (In SEC play)
Condon - 28
Cags - 27
Moore- 6
He had more HR & RBI due to having far more ABs but his OPS was a full .130 below Condon.
At bats per HR:
Condon - 6.26
Moore - 6.65
At bats per RBI:
Condon - 2.90
Moore - 3.24

An argument to simply be a finalist? Yes really. I didn’t say he should win it

Lol they just had to throw someone in who wasn't in the SEC.
