Case in point. You can't help yourself, because you are a child.
Honestly, I’m just proud you kept your fetish to yourself that time

Look how much Texas being added to the SEC triggers you (I mean, I get it: I’d be triggered too if the team I was 5-17 against was joining a league to immediately overshadow my school)

Funny how that seems to work ok for Texas fans. It doesnt matter when they loss. Baseball this year is a great example after we destroyed them. Too many Texas fans saying it didnt matter one bit. Guess the last 3 times we have played in Austin dont matter either.
We’re laughing at you because you have to treat beating Texas on a Tuesday like you won the World Series (probably because you’re going to live and die without seeing a&m win one of what Texas already has six of)
quote:

Then they finally win a game against Alabama in football and they are crowning themselves SEC champs.
Nobody’s doing that? Didnt yall rush the field last time yall beat Alabama, which encouraged your school to give jimbo a $100 million extension and an additional $30 million for a recruiting class? The same class that lost to app state?
quote:

I kinda laugh at it all. As I know what they do not....SEC isnt anything like the Big 12. And thinking all their Big 12 struggles will end by crawling into the SEC, sorry but bad things coming for a lot of your mens programs. Mark my warning to the fan base. Aint gonna be a good year in 2024-2025.

I don’t think there could be any fanbase to administer a less intimidating warning than Texas A&M

OU is not our rival. Only Kansas is. That being said, I hate OU. They kept us out of the NC in 2007 and the final four in 2002.

Oh, the good old days when Les had a horseshoe, a rabbit's foot, and a four-leafed clover all stuffed up his arse.

Oklahoma does love to see LSU win football national championships. Assists in all of our championships in this millennium. Thanks Sooners.

I'm sure they'll work their way up the ladder by September or so.

As long as Skeletor is their coach, SC fans will hate on them...

I feel like with Texas being in the SEC they will naturally take on better rivalries. Missouri and Arkansas yap a lot.

The OP literally mentions Texas. Besides, who do you think "they" is referring to here? Texas or Oklahoma? If Oklahoma, why would he ask if OU is going to get "left out of initial rivalry hatred," and then say they'll take on better rivalries?

Go on the defensive. It is a great look for you. You dont even understand what you read in the OP.

They certainly were last season, no?

I think ATM is still Big12/SWC ATM...thus their lack of success in the SEC in football. Going forward they will be middle of the pack in the SEC like they have been. Historically ATM averaged a SWC title every 6 years. Historically they should have 2 in the SEC. They ain't sniffed one.

Texas is hated by pretty much everyone outside of Austin. Most just know Oklahoma for tornados and double wide trailers. Not much to have a rivalry against ...

I think oklahoma/alabama could potentially turn into an oklahoma/Nebraska type rivalry, built on respect and winning traditions, not so much hate.

This is the one I'm looking forward to. I feel like the UA/OU football games might be the best thing to come from expansion. It has the potential to become a great rivalry.

Agree that the Hogs and Sooners could develop into a very good rivalry. I grew up in Fort Smith and have a special chip on my shoulder that makes me cringe everytime I see the OU logo.

Having said that, one of my kids completed a residency at OU and while there had two kids who will from hereforth have to list their place of birth as OKC. Another daughter is getting ready to move to Tulsa (from NW Arkansas) but we're hoping she can schedule an inducement for her next kid so the birth will be back over in the safety of Arkansas. My best friend has lived in Tulsa for 35 years and his children and grandchildren were all born there. we used to frequent Tenkiller for skiing and Kerr Lake for fishing back in the day. I dated a girl from Muscogee for a time as well. I don't think my situation is unique either.

So, indeed there are plenty of ties there and it could be a lot of fun going forward.

This x100. Good to see I'm not the only Texas fan who can admit the Ags are an important rivalry. They always have been.
