I wonder if this is before or after the 200 M we dropped for a renovated football complex, bigger and better indoor facility, & massive academic and wellness center.

Tennessee Volunteers
The Anderson Training Center in Knoxville is an incredibly nice facility that spans 145,000 square feet, but that's only the tip of the iceberg for what's coming at Tennessee. Per GoVols247, new locker rooms are just a small portion of the $30 million renovation coming to an already impressive space. Just check out the renderings for what's next.
Neyland will soon be one of college football's most advanced cathedrals.
"The most." Next.

Meh. All renovated facilties are super nice these days. Most recruits and transfers are like, "Ya'll's cribs are cool and all, but I need NIL cash and I need to start. Muh Fam need to eat and I need to get to the League."

Nebraska told South Carolina to hold their beer. They have the 8th ranked facilities and a hell of a lot of tradition. Despite that they have had losing seasons for going on 7 years in a row now.

Simple answer is "politics."
We, as the Flagship University, are governed by a state politico that includes sheep humping sister banging senators and reps in the house .... and the occasional taterhead governor like Trikki Nikki Haley who immediately fired our richest BOT in Darla Moore.
Whereas, the sheep humping sister bangers have no influence from any Gamecock appointed BOTs.
Does that make any sense?
It started with Pitchfork Ben Tillman.
BTW ... did you notice where the sister bangers are ranked on this list? #5
ETA: We also beat the sister bangers 5 yrs in a row while winning 51 games that included three straight 11 win seasons under SOS and a couple of Top 5 finishes .... but because of SEC we didn't even make the Championship Bowl Series .... while the sister bangers still got the big bowl births via the ACC. They finished behind us but got the better bowls every year.
It's just how the cookie crumbles for our Gamecocks. We continue to endeavor ... we are relentless.
BTW, all of our facilities are Top 10 .... football, basketball, baseball, softball, track & field, tennis, golf, beach volleyball, you name it. Money, support, facilities have never been an issue.

Top 10-15 are probably all interchangeable. I think NIL has made this less important.
