The SEC certainly didn't hand UGA any favors....#2 Texas, #5 Alabama and #6 Ole Miss -- all on the road -- and #10 Clemson to open the season in Atlanta, not in Athens. It's gonna be rough.

Seeing the schedule that almost every SEC will have to go through this year makes it an absolute joke that we have the stupid 5 CC playoff rule with the top 4 CC champions getting a bye. There is no way for a SEC Team to go 13-0 from here on out. Need to go ahead guarantee the conference a minimum of 4 bids each year.

South Carolina plays 5 of their top 10 this season, including 3 straight weeks of top 10 opponents. 6 of our opponents are in the top 13.

I saw some idiot that said we didn’t have a top 25 schedule because of Akron/Wofford/ODU. This fricking conference

We are very misunderstood by pollsters. We return more key pieces than we lose and I mean experienced pieces that were lost to injury early. I remember one pundit who knocked us down a few for losing a starting LB to the portal but that LB was only starting due to injury and inexperience. I’m not saying we are top 3 or anything like that but the understanding and logic by pundits regarding us as been unsound.

Auburn plays 4 of the Preseason Top 9 and this is our easiest schedule in a couple decades.

My thoughts on Auburn using these rankings:

@ #1 Georgia and @ #5 Bama are likely losses just being honest

4 OOC games, Vandy and Arkansas (all at home) should be fairly winnable.

That puts us at 6-2 with the four other games being:

#8 Oklahoma at home
#9 Missouri on the road
Texas A&M at home
Kentucky on the road

I think 8-4 is very doable, and that would be a step in the right direction following the last 3 seasons.

This will still be a UGA home game, don’t kid yourself. Clemson didn’t travel well last time they played in Atlanta.

Swap LSU and Mizzou. Sure they lose their Heisman winner, but Nussmeirer is a damn good QB and the rest of the roster is better than Mizzou's.

Swap Michigan for Oklahoma. Both are "rebuilding" but the foundation Michigan is rebuilding from is more solid and they are the defending champs, they deserve a spot in the top ten until such time as they don't. Oklahoma hasn't made noise since 2017.

That would make a decent top ten.

I'll allow Ole Miss and Clemson as "spicy" picks but Clemson may be looking at a preseason #10 and by week #2, unranked.

Death, taxes, and the media shoe horning Notre Dame into the top 10 for no reason.

OU behind ole mess is a joke. We will own the grove when we play them this year. We are beating bama and texass as we always do to.

Book it!
