Everyone is buying players.

Trying to act like you don’t in modern football is dumb as shite.

Game's passed him by.

He's too old.

He can't recruit in this environment.

He's an anchor to the LSU program.

He won't adjust to the new era of college football.

Players in this era won't respond to his brand of football.

Hard to teach on old dog new tricks. Just like Saban, it’s not just the money, it’s the having constantly reassemble your roster and not having program guys in the system 2/3 years to learn your brand of football. These coaches who have been in it a while are having to restart program building from scratch and it’s just not easy to do esp if you’ve been successful at the old way for so long.

We are not in the market of buying players .... if you're
just looking to get paid , you're in the wrong place.

That's admirable but he won't find any top recruits not looking
to get paid.

I agree with you. But, BK has an staff of noncoaching staff members to help him retool his roster after every season. He made an inflection point comment.

They have done such a wonderful job developing defensive players, like Harold Perkins, why would any defensive player not be swarming to LSU? Especially when the head coach himself says you won’t get paid like at other schools.

Hey coach, maybe that is why your recruiting on defense hasn’t gone like you hoped.

Some things are better left unsaid Coach. Why give folks ammo against you when you are gunning for players who are looking to get paid?

LSU could compete, back when buying players was cheating and they were able to do it so brazenly because LA is just a generally corrupt place where it was easy to get people to go along with it and get away with it.

Now that they are on a level playing field their state full of poor retards is holding them back

This.

LSU get your succession plan together because BK just told you he's not cut out for this era of minor league college football.

Not just this but also once they were in they didn’t have to worry about trying to keep them.

I will agree with this once they fall out of the top 10 and start bringing in Missouri type classes.

I don't see why they didn't bring Mekhi Wingo back.

That's been a big part of Missouri's NIL strategy, buying late rounders back out of the draft. It doesn't take a whole lo do it and it's adding an NFL player to your CFB roster.

I would rather pay good money for a coach, instead of paying some player a million dollars to come play for one year. screw that.

This idea that Oklahoma paid a huge amount more than LSU or Texas offered is wrong. He got paid less than a million, OU isnt in the business of resetting the rental market.

Texas, LSU insiders butthurt their coaches couldn't close
