The absolute shitstorm of distraction that the 2010 AU team thrived through amazes me.
If nothing else, Chiz has my respect for managing that.

2005 vs the greatest CFB ever assembled...or so said all the talking heads. The 4th and goal to ice the game, gotta admit the confidence I had all season long was beginning to fade...then Superman did it! There was still time on the clock for Leinhart, Bush and White to do their thing...but our D stepped up big time that night.
2009 was such a disappointment, I was even more confident going into that game than I was with Vince and USC 4 years earlier...then the freak hit by Marcell Darius crushed all that. Even so our true Freshman QB and heroics by Jordan Shipley kept us in the game until the end.

My favorite play of that game.. besides the obvious one.. might be the Griffin INT in the endzone.. USC was up 7-0 at the time and that was a big turning point in the game.. Reggie's fumble was pretty great too.. what a bonehead play that was..

The thing that stands out to me is the success outside of playing football that members of our 64 team had. That was a rare and determined group of players. Jerry jones, Jimmy Johnson, Ken Hatfield and Barry Switzer as an assistant stand out, but others have done quite well. Those guys decided to win after a bad previous year and did. Good times.

Yep.. that one hurt pretty bad for multiple reasons..
1) We had a good chance to win that game if Colt hadn't gotten hurt..
(yes, yes I know.. laugh away, but it's true)
2) Mack completely changed his whole philosophy based on that 1 game, and the next 12 years would mostly suck because of that 1 decision. Turns out, the spread worked against Alabama.. and even Alabama changed their ways years later..

Me and my dad losing our shite when Ringo made the pick 6 to all but seal the victory. I dont think we stopped jumping and yelling for a solid 3-5 minutes. Glad I got to experience that with him.

As much as we remember the heroics of Vince that night, our defense truly kept us in the game whenever the offense sputtered. Stopping Lendale White short of the first when he had a full head of steam is stuff of legend.

Tough for LSU and Bama fans to pick one specific moment honestly. Both programs have won so much more than any other SEC team (or any team) this century

Beating the living shite out an Ohio State team that everyone told Florida had no right to be even on the field with.
Florida was picked to lose by every talking head and the Gators decided to save the last game of the year for their best performance. Complete destruction on defense and Leak played arguably his best game as a Gator. Just as thorough of an arse kicking as you can ask for

It can certainly be argued but Bama has a completely different game plan as well if Colt doesn’t go down.
You could argue Saban went way too conservative and just played not to lose the entire game and honestly almost cost them.
