s.o.b.s and I think they will. The southern universities are a far cry from Columbia and UCLA

That's gonna be near the building I go to class in. Hopefully the 5 people who protest look like idiots in the rain.

Hopefully they aren't loud or cause a commotion. I gotta stay on track to pay for taxes for their lazy asses once I graduate.

Guarantee you none of the protesters know where Palestine and Israel are.

It is indeed at LSU. I don't see why it would.

we might all chide each other about sports, but I think we are mostly united in these more important matters

About 10-15 years ago, some commie grad student said he was going to burn the American flag on LSU's parade grounds. The counter protest that showed up was so large and hostile that he chickened out and opted for police to escort him away to safety.

A bit OT, but I had not see this before. Someone posted this in a UNC Pi Kapps thread. Called it the "greatest play in MLB history."

To be honest I have no problem with pro-palestinian sentiment. Palestinians get shite on by everyone. They need all the help they can get.

I'm absolutely against pro-Hamas sentiment. Hamas is a terrorist organization that kills people indiscriminantly (both Israeli and Palestinian).

Some people incorrectly assume Palestine = Hamas. That's not accurate.

I sympathize with Palestinians getting pissed at Israel coming in and taking their homes or firing missiles into their neighborhoods when Hamas is using them as human shields for their terrorist actions. They're kind of fricked and there's not a whole lot they can do to avoid getting killed by one side or the other.

But when I see pro-Hamas protests, that irks me.

It largely is. 70% of Palestinians support Hamas, including 10/7

The real irony are all those chanting “free Palestine” while crapping on Israel. That’s exactly what Israel is trying to do……

Hamas is their elected government.

Moreover, they are taught from birth and hold true in their belief the “river to the sea” rhetoric.

They are complicit as well.
