Missouri state law, university's progressive NIL approach give Mizzou advantage amid evolving landscape

"Missouri has the best NIL setup of any state, any school in the country. Guaranteed," said Blake Lawrence, founder and CEO of NIL technology company Opendorse. "One school that's not waiting for the future is Missouri."

As long as we keep winning our Super Bowl on Black Friday, I'll be happy.

Word on the street is Brad Pitt and John Hamm are filtering crazy NIL money into the University.

When will the Hogs come around? Texas will always view you as third fiddle to OU and Aggy. And we have an opening.

Shitty history is just that shitty. At least they are finally stepping up and trying in athletics. The 80's killed Mizzou and it is nice to have some positive moves.

This is just another example of the chaos that NIL will bring to college sports.

I asked about opendorse in another NIL thread. I found out about it looking at Washington's roster.
This is a cross country girl for Bama. She will sign an autograph for 2269.00.

This is a Texas horn down guy with a weird profile picture that showed up on the front page https://opendorse.com/profile/brandyn-akana?from=texas-longhorns

We will come around when our administration and boosters decide to quit going cheap on head coaching hires.

I didn't claim we wouldn't frick up. frick ups and setbacks are expected. Nothing can hurt us.

How tragic that the bluebloods of the past can't just walk in and claim who they want.
And if they don't keep their word on NIL payments there are schools who will.

Does mizzou still get to pay in state high school players who commit? Seems like parents would jump all over that….

quote:They're ponying up being proactive. They already have a step up on many programs now that the State passed an NIL law that allows high school players to be compensated. Mizzou can start early paying players, Great move and great vision.

IMO, any State that isn't actively trying to pass the same laws are idiots. I want Alabama to pass that law AND the Virginia law as well. Open up the fricking floodgates and let the $$ pour.
