Did we offend A&M by calling them 8&4 too much?

Do we need another, less offensive nickname? They’re currently paying two 7-5 coaches so we can’t even use that nickname with integrity anymore. They have so much money and there’s no reason they shouldn’t be going 8-4 every season, so they’re clearly doing it to spite us and I have to think it’s because they were so offended by 8&4.
That nickname feels so natural, then they went and fricked it up out of spite. Maybe the SEC should kick them out so they have a chance at reclaiming an iconic nickname? There is absolutely no way this team is going 8-4 or better ever again.

Not sure why 8-4 is offensive. You do know that is LSU historical average in college football? You know this right?

We've all seen LSU win titles (notice the plural nature of that word) in our lifetimes. No one has seen a&m's only title, which happened to occur before facemasks and penalty flags.

They’re leaving anyway.
