Apparently buyout money is no problem for the wolverines. I think Oats will be very interested as well.

I still feel like if I were him id have conversations with Louisville through 3rd parties. Tell them that if they wait a month id jump there. If not ill stay at Bama.

Louisville is a far better gig than Michigan

If he’s going anywhere, it is Michigan State I’d worry over.

He'll turn it down, but the rumors for every good coaching opening will continue.

How can Oats be a candidate for every high profile job and also be as bad a coach as posters on this board say he is ?

I doubt he's interested. He's not going to uproot his kids. They are happy in T-town!! Alabama can match anything MI could pay.

Michigan is a do nothing Basketball program and history compared to Alabama basketball tradition...he won't even pick up the phone...Michigan basketball...what a joke

He'll certainly be one of the candidates for all the openings. Mick Cronin, Dusty May and Oats are on just about everyone's wish list.

Damn. Juwan and Stack fired within a day of each other. Seems like just last year they were facing off in the NIT.

Now Alabama basketball will return to irrelevance.

Would the LSU fans melt if Bama hired Will Wade?
