Robert Gillespie, along with freddie Roach, were the only (2) coaches retained by kalen DeBoer. Would be a big loss. Really good coach. Probably a rumour.

Bama gumps use this term incredibly too much. Its like their default response when their empty brains have nothing else to say when someone says a single word about bama. dude was just talking about a possible big move in the alabama program, get over yourself.

From my neutral observations here over the last few months, LSU coonasses are obsessed with Bama gumps. It's pretty much the definition of rent-free.

We will know it's real if SideTaint tells us it isn't.

Six Potential Candidates fro RB coach OSU
Would have to be a really good offer since RG was promoted by Deboer.

ROBERT GILLESPIE, ALABAMA
This would be one of the bigger swings Ryan Day could take in trying to fill Alford's shoes. Having already plucked center Seth McLaughlin and safety Caleb Downs from Alabama in the transfer portal, the Crimson Tide's three-year running backs coach could be another target of theft from the program Nick Saban just left.
Gillespie's been a bell-cow recruiter for the Tide, winning key battles against Ohio State for five-star running back Justice Haynes and even five-star defensive end Keon Keeley. Across his three recruiting cycles at Alabama, Gillespie's helped bring five 247Sports composite five-stars to Tuscaloosa, serving as the primary recruiter for four of those signings.
New Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer made a point to promote Gillespie to assistant head coach after first being hired. Still, he's worth a call for Ryan Day.

Gillespie is sought after? No shite. You mean to tell me college programs try to hire away good coaches? I would have never thought.

That was really the furthest thing from my mind when posting this topic, but evidently there is some smoke to it.

Gillespie's departure will likely result in DeBoer being fired for cause.

He said no thanks to Georgia and Tennessee already this offseason. He just got a nice raise and promotion at Alabama. He also has as talented a RB depth chart as anyone.
But who knows. Did anyone see Ohio State losing their RBs coach to Michigan?

You're just mad no one pays attention to missouri about anything. Not even worth talking shite
I actually respect the Alabama football program, and Nick Saban. He was the greatest to ever do it. And those that talk shite about him are honestly jealous of his success. The man is 72 years old, he can have any reason he wants to retire. Did players get paid under his tenure prior to NIL? Absolutely. But so did players at every big school that is competitive in football.
It's the inbred gumpy bama fans that are insufferable. ole boy rolltide willie is 1000% a product of cousin incest. Bama fans are just as fun to get riled up as texas fans.

I'm good with no one paying attention during basketball season.
