Some school is going to have a marketing genius deploy some sort of loyalty/rewards program for NIL donors. It's gotta be things that don't cost significant amounts of money, but there's so much that could be done.
For example, ticket priority, maybe you get access to free/discountes tickets for games that arent sold out within a few hours prior to start.
Insider news access - special releases sent to a certain tier of contributor. Maybe offer the ability to send in a question to be answered at the press conference.
Leave certain things up to a fan vote that NIL donors have access to. Relatively small things e.g. what color will the end zones be this year.
Mostly just meaningless things but make people feel like they’re involved in the program.
Once you have your donors all with apps on their phones, keeping track of their benefits, you now have direct access to funding drives. Big recruiting battle and we’re short on cash? Send out a notification - make donations over the next few hours worth double points. You would instantly know how much $ you’re working with

Back to the original premise of this thread.
Should Muss leave for whatever reason - there are only two options.
Chris Beard
Will Wade
And no, I don't care about the moral high road. We took the moral high road in 2012 and nuked the football program. Beard has proven he can do it everywhere he goes, absolute no-brainer - bring out the Brinks truck.
Wade was excellent at NIL before NIL was even a thing. Was very successful at LSU and looks great at McNeese.
Anything else is Stan Heath.

I can promise you it won't be our school. Our AD is to busy crying about NIL instead of being proactive.
The premise is a genius move as donor fatigue is real and its going to hit quickly. You can't keep going to the well for buyouts, builds, and bodies and expect them to keep throwing in cash. Then along with that pay for their suites and everything else.
We are going to have to be smart on getting the average joe invested. That's the way you put it over the top. The way the average joe stays involved is buy getting free stuff and feeling connected to the program even with their small donation.

Sadly, I agree.

Cal is medium without the TOP talent... so this is the answer.

Down by 14 to a 9-win team, no Muss please don’t go.

Our next coach just went 30-3 and is dancing at McNeese. They were 11-23 last year.

Why’s it a good thing for Muss to leave?

This teams slogan should be: Never underestimate the amount of quit in this team.

My wife agreed to sexytime with me later but that doesn’t mean a damn thing. Maybe Beard will get a headache

Sad that you won’t get to see Muss’ nipples this year?
I am, because those nips being out meant something good had happened. They were real and they were fabulous and I hope to see them again sometime with him as the coach of the hogs.

So now it appears Muss is talking to Washington and Okie Lite.
He wants out boys. Can’t say that I blame him the way he has egg on his face from this season. He’s trying to save his value/perception nationally before he has another bad season

Well he was fired and the BOT hired a coach that won 4 games in two years.
As much as I depised Long you might want to check out the record since he was shite canned.
Yeah, Long sucked but our current condition as an athletic department is no longer his to blame. It's the people in charge that can't get out of their own way.

Maybe we could sell raffle tickets? Or host a carwash?
