It is almost like population is somehow related to GDP.

Yeah nothing to do with the 4th largest port in the country or anything

They only needed to sell out to foreigners as well as west coast leftists to do it.

No friggin' way Alabama and Louisiana have more GNP than Kentucky. Both too under-developed and backwards to compare to Kentucky. I'd like to see the methodology of these calculations..

Look it up. Both Louisiana and Alabama have bigger GDPs than Kentucky.

It’s all them transplanted folks from the north boosting you up

Now, do per capita... Georgia is in the bottom half along with the rest of the South... and behind Tennessee.
Atlanta's GDP is right around the same as the entire state of Tennessee, genius!

That why I said I question the methodology. I've spent a lot of time in all three states and it's not really believable.

A lot of your GNP in SW Ohio is moving south of the river; a trend that is likely to accelerate given the recent political changes in Cincy.

Louisiana is an extremly big Oil and Gas State with huge LNG plants. That is a big chunk of our economy. Alabama has a lot of car manufacturing plants. Eastern Kentucy is very poor. Maybe not the rest of that state but the east of KY is backwards

Oh wow, a state with a major port, one of the largest cities in the country, and the highest population in the region has the the largest economy. I, for one, am appalled. Good job doing exactly what you should be doing, I guess?

shite people have been saying that about northern Kentucky since before your momma met your daddy.
Butler county Ohio and beyond have grown pretty significantly too.
Cincinnati is still the engine driving the growth even if city council is lead by a bunch of wackadoos.
State government of Ohio remains very business friendly

Georgia without Atlanta, is just another Mississippi.
