OU has made the playoffs a lot more often than Texas has. NEither has won a playoff game.
If we're legitimately ranking teams in the new SEC you have the following groupings.
Teams who've won a playoff national title or at least won a playoff game:
Bama, UGA, LSU
Teams who've made the playoff but never won a game there:
OU, Texas
Teams who won a BCS title but haven't made the playoff:
Florida, Auburn, Tennessee
Teams with older titles/shares of titles:
Arkansas (1964), Ole Miss (1960), A&M (1939)
Everyone else:
Kentucky, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Mizzou
