I don’t think it should be in Jacksonville every year. Maybe do one year at Mercedes Benz stadium and the next year do it at Everbank stadium.

As a UGA fan of 51 years I about half arse agree...Kirby has a point about it being a slight hindurance in recruiting. There are also some scheduling problems having one less opportunity to go home and home with someone else.

As a rabid DAWG fan fully capable of barking in an old ladies face, snatching Auburn hats off the heads of Auburn fans, pissing in a balloon in the stands with nary a soul seeing me do so and then chunking said balloon several sections away so as to hit a visiting fan I say keep in Jacksonville - the Bull Reds stack off in the passes and off the beach in October...

Fortunately, so many people are moving to Jax my home value has doubled from what I paid.

Home insurance has probably quadrupled in that same period

As a surfer, the gulf beaches offer absolutely nothing compared to the east coast of Florida.

Amelia Island Beaches are just as nice.

The Old Town part of Fernandina has some great restaurants.

There are more people in the end zones at that game than fills a sold out Vaught Hemingway Stadium.

For sure. Who would like taking a week of vacation to go party on St. Simon's Island?
exactly

that would pretty much suck…

...if you could get a place on Amelia instead

both are amazing

Love having the game in JAX

if anything, it gives the Dawgs a recruiting advantage with a game in Florida every year…

Most Ranters aren't the partying type. They're more of the "yell at your tv" type.

My first Auburn Georgia football game in Athens was 1971. UGA family in Monroe and Social Circle. Partied on the tracks back in the day.
Lower 1/2 of Sec A for the BB game in Athens this month.
If you can’t get in I will be back staying in Dudley Park with said family for the DSOR Friday and Saturday. Usually I sit in either Sec 102 or 133.
Feel free to attempt to snatch mine.
Let’s stay in touch shall we?

How about an IDEAL “neutral” site like Shreveport?

Why Shreveport you may ask?

Besides the normal glitz, glamor, and excitement that usually immediately comes to mind when you think of Shreveport?….there’s plenty more in store:

- Marginal blue-collar, low rent Casinos!!

- MUCH less marginal “strip-joints /titty-bars/gentleman’s clubs” !!

- When the wind blows in just the RIGHT direction…it really doesn’t smell that bad.

- TWO Cracker Barrel’s !!

(And?…if the rumors are true?)….

…potentially?

- A conveniently located interstate exit ramp accessible Buckee’s !!

If Jacksonville has lost its luster??

Shreveport is PERFECTLY positioned to meet & exceed all of the amenities & destination expectations that a “neutral site” could deliver for all die hard Gator & Bulldog fans alike!!!

It’s idiotic for you to tell someone what they should talk about.

Even your own coach doesn’t like it buddy..

I suspect this is because Kirby wants payback for the 94 and 95 games being on campus when he was a player.

Kirby wants another home game every other year. Another SEC match up when he can bring in the top recruits in the country.

I don’t know how those programs feel about that deal, but I know I’m sick of the aggie game being played at Jerry world every year. It was pretty cool when it was a non conference game but conference games should be home and home, imo.

Leave it as is. This is a great tradition in Southern football.
