Nope
They will not
They will whimper by themselves while standing in the corner facing the wall.

I fear they will get the bama treatment against the poors and those that don’t have sway in Birmingham…ole miss, vandy, state, Kentucky, Arkansas, South Carolina, Mizzou…

Despite getting the ref calls they were mediocre. This SEC move was all about ESPN unloading longhorn network. Sankey got played.

They didn't have Sark back then. But I hope you're right.

In football?
I mean, the whole sport just massively changed, and I admit the short term looks favorable to the richest schools.

I think Texass adds a lot to the SEC in athletics, in several sports. BUT, Texass will not dominate the SEC in any sport.

Weird… a Vandy fan who speaks like a Bama fan.

Like you dominated the Big 12?
The SCOTUS inadvertently did us a solid, the playing field isn't just levelled, it's now tilted in our favor. Even the BMD's who may not be huge sports junkies realize the football program is the face of the school to the rest of the country, and winning has benefits that resonate in other areas of the university. For example, Alabama has been attracting students from across the country that never would have considered them before Saban led them on a long winning streak...everyone wants to be associated with a winner.
So have I made myself clear? Borrowing buzzwords from coach Prime..we comin.

You have to keep in mind that Texas fired their 2 best coaches ever; Darrell Royal and Mack Brown. Sure they've had some success before but they've never dominated over a period of time like Bama or Miami.
I will agree they are on an upswing right now but somehow it will peter out in a few years.

There's not one person in Austin Texas that would know how to raise a cow

Sankey got played.
Isn't that his MO? Other than being next in line, how did he get that job?
