No. We just have 2 of the last 3 National Titles. Dynasty is built over a 7-10 year period. Still work to do to be considered a dynasty.
Nah, a dynasty is more like a 5 year window. Most folks call early 2000's Miami a dynasty and mid 2000's USC a dynasty. Those era's were built and flamed out in less than 5 years.
Also, we were told on this board for the better part of the last 10-12 years that Alabama was definitely not a dynasty... So until Georgia exceeds 6 National titles, 9 national title game appearances and 8 playoff appearances in about a dozen years, then we can't call them a dynasty, since that is the standard.

Solid point…

Georgia is about to have a lot tougher road with the new SEC and the 12 team playoff. I honestly see Texas and dare I say aTm dominating in this brave new world of NIL…if anyone.
Georgia isn't scared of NIL and it didn't make our coach tap out.
Georgia will be right back in the playoffs next year - book it. That said, on paper, OSU is the team to beat next year.

Copium supplies in Alabama must be dangerously low .

and the 12 team playoff
on the contrary it will now be that much easier to make the playoffs. Had it existed as 12 teams for all of Kirby's tenure you could argue that he makes the playoffs in 6 of his 8 years, with one of the exclusions being his first year which sucked.

Georgia won no awards and didn't make it to the playoffs in 2023.
Georgia has won a National Championship more recently than Alabama. In fact, Georgia has won 2 National Championships more recently than Alabama.

Horrible troll, just look at their record.

Do poster’s seriously consider UGA to be a dynasty now?
It doesn't matter.
Georgia has historically been a solid program with some time honored traditions.
There have been only 8 national teams that have won 30 or more bowl games.
Georgia has the highest winning percentage of them all.
Georgia 65.57
So. Cal. 63.15
Alabama 62.16
Penn St. 60.78
LSU 55.55
Oklahoma 55.35
Texas 54.38
Tenn 53.57
Georgia is a top tier program and is going to be in the hunt each and every year.

The only dynasty UGA is creating is a dog version of the Hapsburg dynasty with all that inbreeding

Not yet. A third NC in the next 5 years would get it for them.
The most accepted definition of a dynasty is 3 NC's in a 10 year span. What Bama has done is well beyond a normal dynasty.
Examples would be OU from 1948-1958 (3 NC's in 11 seasons), Miami from 1983-1991 (4 NC's in 9 seasons) or Nebraska from 1993-1997 (3 NC in 5 seasons).
UGA needs a 3rd title to make it a dynasty. Then it will simply be a question of when it ends. Right now Bama's dynasty years will go down as 2009-2020 (6 titles in 12 seasons). If they win another title though, that range could get higher.

Two under the current coach. That’s frickin gay that you tried to pull that and cut it off by one year. Lol.
Alabama has exactly zero national championships in the last 3 years. See what I did there?
And since the covid year didn’t count really Alabama hasn’t won a national championship in 5 years. Lol.

Still better than Tennessee’s 4 day dynasty.

IMHO A dynasty doesn't exist until a team are in or near the title hunt every for at about 5 years. Georgia hasn't established itself yet.......People was telling Bama their dynasty was over when they missed the playoffs one year so what does that say about Georgia this year.
English much?

That dynasty doesn’t have a lack of SEC Championships like UGA’s “dynasty”.
I think they are close but not there yet.
Yeah, but they meant a lot those years. 2017 and 2011...not so much. Wonder why.

Not in 2019.
Beating LSU in the 2019 SEC Championship game would have put them in the playoff, dick breath.
That's called being in the hunt.

I don't. Now, if we were to somehow win a title in 2024, I would say we should, at the very least, be in the conversation. 3 out of 4 gets you in Dynasty territory. But, we are not there yet. We do have a very good streak going on right now.
