Florida and A&M are the ones handing out IOUs.

No.. and OM has a good reputation of actually paying what's promised, hence why we are bringing in a nice portal class.

The beauty of this is that the kids don't know the money is missing, so you don't have worry about paying it back.

No, not at all. This is just something scared rivals are stating, with zero evidence, in an attempt to slow down momentum.

You're supposed to say "borrowing". Quotation marks are necessary here.

Heard they put it all on the Capital One Card and they'll make it back with ticket sales and 5% Cash Back.

Heard this yesterday….

I have a friend who is an Ole Miss donor and he told me back in December that they are borrowing money to pay NIL to go all in on 2024.

Their hope is that a serious natty run can get them over the hurdle and into the top tier conversation.

The most Mississippi State thing ever is being poor and putting together a roster of Jucos and 3 stars no one else wanted.

This is an old rumor and is just as stupid today as it was two months ago. No financial institution is going to lend money out to pay college football players.

This was a rumor started on a Mississippi State board called Elite Dawgs because they couldn’t fathom that we actually have that much more money than them to spend on football. Not all State fans are crazy but that message board is a special kind of stupid/crazy

We’re not borrowing it’s all in Crypto. I’d like to introduce you to the new heads of the Grove Collective.

What kind of banking or financial institution is giving people or a collective for that matter that much money with no security? What type of collateral do you think would be needed to finance millions of dollars? People aren’t taking out 2nd mortgages or doing a cash-out refinance on their homes. This shite is funny

Who says it's a financial institution? Unless of course loan sharks are SEC registered these days.

Rumor was around about last years as well. Started by the poors in starkville.

Go to the bank and ask for $12 million dollars, and then tell them you plan on giving it to a college kid, with no intention of ever collecting it back. Let me know how that goes for you.
