Would Kiffin definitely dump OM if LSU became available and offered?

I think he possibly would make that move. I think it’s a better job.

Of course. Not sure anyone would argue otherwise , that’s not from Mississippi

Absolutely, yes.

Question is if LSU would want him.

I doubt he would leave Ole Miss, not for LSU. Lane has done his best coaching at Ole Miss.

I’m no longer worried about him taking any other college job. And I won’t unless Kirby retires. UCLA is probably the closest thing he might consider.

Kiffin makes $9M a year (not counting incentives) at Ole Miss. Kelly makes $10M. He has much better job security at Ole Miss. He has total control of the program at Ole Miss. He has a better roster than LSU. Half his family moved to Oxford because they love it.

Kiffin will be starting his 5th last season at ole miss next year (his longest tenure at any school)

But yes please tell me more about Kiffin going to that absolute shite hole in Baton Rouge full of retarded swamp people who never graduated college.

I honestly can't believe Bama didn't hire him even if he did lay waste to every boosters debutante daughter in Tuscaloosa.

No way all these players would have left with Lane Train recruiting them to stay.

I think he would be dumb to leave OM at this point in his career for another Tennessee/USC/NFL type job, which LSU would be.

He may make another $1mm per year, but the expectations will be a lot higher. If you win less than 10 games after year 3 at LSU you’re on the hot seat. Do it in 2 consecutive years, and your goose is cooked.

He can stay at OM and win 7-10 games per year for eternity making a very competitive salary.

Now, later on in his career if he gets in “It’s Natty or bust for me” mode like BK, then absolutely you make the move to a program you could win a championship at.

Kiffin has been trying to leave Oxford for 2 years now, but he interviews like an arrogant bastard. I can relate to the Dan Mullen days at State. He would have been hired away years earlier if he wasn’t such a child.
