DeBoer appears to be a good coach, but he had Pennix throwing the ball for him

It's hard to judge a coach when what you know is how his team fared with a top qb. it's hard to have one of those every year.

It's almost like the only teams he has coached were all QB'd by Penix, right?

I think history is going to show Penix isn't that good and the WRs and coaching were..... but I may be wrong

Exactly! We thought Curly Hallman was a good hire, but he won at Southern Miss because he had Brett Favre.

LSU fans were saying Pennix sucked just a month ago.

I think it's fair to say if he had to stay there at Washington, he'd have likely won 7 to 8 games next year tops. They lost a lot.

Penis was a pretty good college QB. Kaitlin DeBoner was also a good coach. Solid pick up for BAMA

DaBore was a great hire for the likes of Washington. Bama? Not so much.

LSU should definitely be an expert on this topic after the past few years.

I think it’s spelled “DeBose”.

The guy Bama fans said should had beat Daniels for Heisman.

If I were a bama fan, I would be cautiously optimistic about him. Not a ton of high level experience, but did a great job in the short time he had.
From an external viewpoint the only thing I don’t know is how he will handle the pressure from the fans and boosters. He’s going from Seattle to Tuscaloosa. Expectations and pressure is much higher, teeth per capita is much lower.
