Yes. Check out what Jimmy Lake had done to the roster and team. It was a train wreck when he took over.

Washington's classes:

2021 - 30th
2020 - 16th
2019 - 15th
2018 - 16th

Auburn hires a Westcoast guy With no SEC ties, total trainwreck. Bama does, stroke of brilliance. Saban asked for NIL $ but didn't get it. I'm sure this dipshit will though?

He caught lightning in a bottle with a transfer QB and a dead conference.

I'm sure that is all coincidence

Harsin was always a crotchety, weird dude. DeBoer is even keeled and personable. Big difference between the two.

You're saying he hasn't recruited well to Washington? Well, that's completely unacceptable seeing as how the pacific northwest is a hotbed for football talent.
DeBoer's lowly team just played for a natty. I imagine he'll be just fine on the recruiting trail.

As the plains burn part 2 incoming.

Just so I am clear, you think that DeBoer not recruiting a top 25 class but still going 5-0 vs Oregon and Texas (two teams that have top tier talent and had experienced QBs) in his two years at Washington and playing for a national title with said poorly ranked roster is ...

... an indictment?

Good luck trying to get barners to understand logic.

You don’t get to play the little sisters of the poor every week like you do at Washington.

In 2024:

Sisters of the Poor

WKU
USF
Vandy
USC
UT
Mercer
Auburn

Should win

Wisc
Mizzou
OU
LSU

Toughest game
UGA

Looks like an easy schedule for a first year HC at Alabama.

So you're telling me he's that good of a coach ? He can develop the players he already has ? As we've all seen with players, and the portal....all that glitters is not gold.

I'm good with that.....

Watch an interview or press conference of DeBoer and then watch one of Harsin.

Couldn't be more different. The comparison is lazy.

This would make sense if not for this:

36th ranked class in 2024
26th ranked class in 2023
95th ranked class in 2022 (to be fair he had just taken over as coach and didn’t have time to recruit).

What in frick's sake are you so infatuated with what I'm posting?

I have a family member that owns a shot ton of land SE and east central South Dakota. He has known DeBoer for many years. I think he's going to be a great coach and I've heard he's a tremendous person.

Truth is Bama is behind with NIL because they had Saban. So, now Bama has to catch up with Ole Miss, Texas, FSU when it comes to NIL.
