I’m ecstatic if it’s DeBoer.

Dude can flat out coach and is an offensive guru.

Find him a top shelf DC, a couple recruiters and it’s a huge ceiling.

Speaking of offense, I wouldn’t want to be a DC in the SEC
-DeBoer
-Sark
-Kiffin
-Freeze

-Lebby

Yikes.

I think his offense will excite the current players, and TRob as DC would probably keep most of the defense, if not all.

Feel like Byrne hit a home run.

If you hire a coach fresh off of a title game appearance, you did pretty damn good. Guess we'll see how he can operate with all the advantages of Bama.

Wasn't the whole reason Grubbs didn't entertain the OC position was wanting to change up to his offense VS running Bamas?

It was rumored that he did not want to be the OC at Bama because he'd have to run our offense instead of DeBoer's.

Well I bet we don’t lose any WRs now and Ryan Williams recommits.

Maybe Bond will reconsider now. Washington’s leading receiver is a 1st round lock

Please tell me Grubb doesn't want that head coaching stress, please. If not we gotta get Urbs in here.

Anyone after Nick Saban is gonna be underwhelming, but the guy is promising for sure.

Go watch some of Washington's games the past 2 years and you'll feel better.

Interesting.

Now I wonder how much input Saban had in this.

Hope this is locked in. Would be an absolute homerun hire.

Anyone who thinks this hire is "underwhelming" or in some way "settling" doesn't follow this sport outside of Alabama.

Holy shite, this hire (if true) is fricking amazing man.

That's what's hurting us the most. No one has confidence to follow Saban. Huge shadow
