Lanning bothers me. Oregon has more talent but got beat by Washington twice

We had more talent than Tennessee and LSU last year. We had more talent than Texas and Michigan this year.

We've had more talent than any program in 15 years and have 2 undefeated seasons to show for it.

Did Saban bother you too?

Deboer's head coaching record is 104 and 12. He's good, and that Washington team was pretty loaded on offense.

Saban didn't even win 90% of his games at Bama.

Alabama has had more talent than any other team in 2023, 2022, and 2021 and lost 6 games over that span. Does Saban bother you too?

One thing to consider regarding whoever we hire is he doesn't have to be perfect to win a title now. Hell, losing 2 games will be normal for teams making the CFP.

We need a guy who can recruit, win 90% of his games (not 99%) and navigate this portal and NIL bullshite.

Yeah all of this

If I didn’t have to go to work tomorrow and I wasn’t so old and tired, I’d absolutely be up at the airport with a 12-pack and a lawn chair.

Great post. Need some perspective outside of local news and Bama mods right now.

OK so we know it's Lanning.

What do you think of his coordinators?

Me too. Kevin Sumlin looked a good coach his first two years at A&M and beat King Saban himself.

UGA beat Oregon 49-3 last year. 49-3.

If this is true ( not sure anyone knows ) then it seems like it would be a done deal… can’t see a coach going to another college campus to interview and just casually go back like nothing happened IDK

Last year, you mean the team that won a national championship 60something to 7?
