Kiffin tweeted something yesterday implying that Nix would be back. If that is the case, I’d look for a co-OC situation. Kent Austin as co-OC/QB, and maybe a guy like Chad Scott from WVU as co-OC/RB or Robert Gillespie at Alabama as co-OC/RB.
As far as Chris Kiffin, I have to imagine Freeze is willing to wait if he wants him. Thats who he wanted last season, and no doubt regrets who he settled on.

Gillespie is staying put i believe. Maurice Harris and Kent Austin as co-oc's is my best guess based on what I've read/heard.

Kiffin is trolling….just like he keeps retweeting the ESPN article about Freeze calling plays next season.
Nix has some weird clause in his contract about leaving OM to be an OC and call plays. It was the only reason Nix didn’t come last year…he wanted Auburn to indemnify him and they wouldn’t. OM bucked up and threaten legal action.

Probably not potentially OC related...but Kodi Burns was let go by the Saints today. It will be interesting to see where he lands

They let go of a lot of their offensive staff. Saints Twitter seems to think he did really well as WR coach and disappointed he was let go
Kodi should go be Rhett Lashlee's OC on his way to becoming a HC

Freeze tried to hire him last year, but his contract stated that he had to take an OC job and be the primary play caller to leave without a buyout. This year, old piss and Freshwater were using that and saying Freeze was going to be primary play caller even though Nix is going to be OC.

Only people appearing to have trouble seems to Ole Miss. He didn't leave last season and then a year later he splits. Hope an offensive guard or 2 follow him

Auburn, of all programs, has never had any confusion around who is actually calling plays and who has the title of play calling
