If your team doesn't make the playoff next year, how disappointed are you gonna be?

Obviously these teams would be extremely disappointed: UGA, Bama, OU, Texas, LSU, Tennessee
What about the rest of you?
I would think Ole Miss and possibly Mizzou and A&M would be.
Florida and Auburn would be except that they are obviously in rebuild mode and I would think UF would be okay if they were able to get to .500 in conference play next season.

We’re already beyond being disappointed.

How much money have you spent on SEC championship games, national titles games, and playoff games? Bet I have you beat! Also was at the playoff game last year on new years when we beat Ohio State. Get quiet

We are losing a lot of talent this year, and we don’t have the recent track record to just reload each year.
We should be pretty good though, especially if Ewers comes back and takes another step or two forward.
4 SEC
4 B1G
1 Big 12
1 ACC
1 G5
1 Wildcard
This is what I imagine most years.. so maybe 5-6 SEC teams in a weird year, but usually 4.
Georgia
Alabama
Texas
Ole Miss
Missouri
LSU
Those are probably the Top 6 going into next year and 2 of them probably won’t make it.. and those 2 (regardless of who they are) will be upset.
Why don’t I list the cOcksUckers?
They have to play 5 of those teams + Auburn + TN![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/casty.gif)

We're still recruiting. We haven't played the spring game yet. No idea who we have or what kind of team it will be. No idea if our players returning will improve or not. So maybe ask this next September and again in November?

Would be shocking for Bama not to make the playoffs next year, tbh.

At this point, a team that finishes in the top 10 should be in the playoff unless a lot of conference champs are outside the top 10.
Yes, I'd be extremely disappointed if UGA isn't a top 10 team in most years going forward.

Most disappointed teams: UGA, Bama, Texas, OU, Ole Miss
LSU will be focused on improving the defense, and breaking in a new QB (although he appears to have good talent).
TN will be focused on breaking in a new QB (although highly talented). Not sure what they are losing on defense
Mizzou may be disappointed, but from my understanding they are losing some good players after this year. They need to prove that they can sustain a high level of success from year-to-year after a great year.
A&M is rebuilding, and expecting a Playoff run is a stretch in my opinion
FL needs help
AU needs help

Losing to Oklahoma or Arkansas would make me infinitely more disappointed than missing the playoff.

I just wish LSU weren’t doing a complete overhaul. New QB, new WR’s, new defensive staff… I personally can’t fathom our defense not vastly improving but Nussmeier won’t be JD. Not even Milroe can do that.

Not disappointed at all. Expectations for LSU are anywhere from 8-4 to 6-6 next season.
