Right?

Baker is good enough to convince some key pieces to return for 1 more year, and Harold Perkins is a better weapon than anybody he has at Mizzou.

You know he got fired because his defense sucked, right?

I am sure Brian Kelly had zero input, absolutely zero input, in the LSU defense.

I mean, why would he as head coach?

Blake Baker knows this. It will be interesting if he does what is best for his career or what his wife might want. Or might not want. Or he just takes the money.

Who can say his wife isn’t more pissed off than he is about getting stabbed in the back and getting fired by LSU after doing a good job. She was obviously excited to go back the first time. Wonder how she feels now after LSU fired her husband and made them uproot their family?

LSU may get him. But they will have to pay.

Why don’t you try to keep up genius. lol If you do a good job at LSU, you get top job offers and pay increases. House didn’t do a good job, thus he was fired. Blake Baker is not Matt House. He will do a great job at LSU and the sky is the limit.

The limit is one season. So get that hot board out for 2025.

What you dummies haven’t figured out yet is stars don’t mean shite if you don’t put the pieces together that actually fit together.

Which is why we just fired Matt House, Doofus.

Have at it. You’ll be looking for a new DC next year anyway, unless next year is a struggle. Then you’ll be complaining about the job he did.

Should have fired Brian Kelly. He’s the dumbass who fired Baker and hired House.

Right, because Brian Kelly has such a long track record of interfering with his defenses.

I think they're smart enough to not let pride and ego get in the way of money and the potential for a national championship.

What do you think, cap?

What might help him stay is we just signed the #1 DL recruit in the nation Williams Nwaneri. I wouldn't blame him for going back to LSU though.

His desire to be a head coach in the very near future. If you knew anything about Blake Baker, you’d know this. He isn’t putting his career plans on hold to stay at LSU for multiple seasons.

Kelly went after House and ignored Baker. That is not a good look for Kelly. Plus he just fired most of defensive coaches he hired two years ago. That is what wrong with Kelly. He just not that good of a HC. Nothing to do with House. He was supposed to be a homerun hire. House probably wasn't the problem. It goes to the HC for hiring all the fired defensive coaches he just hired two years ago. That is on Kelly. What make you think Baker will get it done at LSU under Kelly. That is what hunted Kelly at Notre Dame. He just can't get a championship there. What makes you think he will do it at LSU?

Not happening next year. Not with Brian Kelly as head coach.

It’s fun laughing at the retarded LSU fan base.

It will be another melt if Baker says no. Or they’d pull out the excuse we didn’t want him anyway.

So you're just inventing a timeline and saying LSU doesn't fit in it.

Got it.

Kelly got rid of every coach with the lone exception of Davis, who was brand new and already had a positive impact.

He just not that good of a HC.

So this is an opinion, and a bad one.

This is also a bad opinion, but in your defense, you've got a lot of those.

Your arguments don’t hold water so you resort to name calling. You Mizzou fans are all the same.

Wasn’t baker just a linebacker coach? Would you have promoted a linebacker coach to defensive coordinator instead of looking for a proven one if you were in Kelly’s shoes? Didn’t baker go to Miami as dc before he went to Mizzou? Why didn’t drink go after him when lsu let him go instead of letting him go to Miami?

This whole argument is ridiculous. It’ll play itself out…
