Probably best for both parties. He is a decent, at times very good, blocker. He is just very inconsistent with snaps and it did not seem to improve over the course of the season. It may have actually gotten worse. It will do him good to get a fresh start somewhere. And surely Alabama can coach someone to snap the ball consistently.

you need to spend just as much time on the D side of the ball. Michigan moved the ball right down the field at the end of the game and OT. They moved the ball well the entire first half. The D was as much of a cause for the loss as the OL and QB play. They seem to be getting a pass.

In this age of NIL, you perform or you're out. You're getting paid to play now.

They scored 20 points in 60 minutes.
3 TDS and 3 PATs beats Michigan.
BAMA scored at least 3 TDs in every game that Milroe started except one. Michigan.
WTF?

No they aren't.

bama had a 7 point lead and Michigan took it right down the field to tie the game. It took them two pays to score in OT?

I gotta agree with this. These kids want big time money, it comes with big time pressure and criticism. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. If you wanna be paid, you better be prepared to be held accountable when you don’t perform.

Can he play offensive guard?
I was gonna ask the same thing. We're set at center, but could use a solid guard right now.

I think he was honored at senior day, the likelihood he was coming back was slim even before he damn near killed Alabama in the Iron Bowl then finished the job in the Rose Bowl.

Ok. 21 points STILL beats them in regulation because those were mistakes made by Michigan.

Michigan had, what 350 total yards and scored 20 points in regulation? And you think the defense should be blamed for the loss?

Yes. You needed one stop. It took Michigan 8 plays and 3:01 to go 75 yards for the tie. That drive there was one incompletion and every other play was for positive yards. It took Michigan 2 plays in OT to go 25 yards for a 7 point lead. That was all lack of D.
ETA the D deserves just as much blame as the Center and Milroe for the loss.

Welcome to The Hill, young man. Kennedy is gone, and Mateos and Pittman gonna fix you right up.

Ok, lady. Any team in the Power 5 Conferences in America would expect to win a playoff football game if their defense only surrendered 20 points through 4 quarters, except, perhaps Iowa and Auburn.
It's dishonest or stupid to reduce an entire football game to one drive.
The offense only needed to gain about 35 yards after Michigan tied it to get into FG range for a kicker who was locked in. They couldn't even get 20 yards. Works both ways. The difference is, when a defense only allows 20 points, a competent offense wins. Period.

He will be a good blocker for somebody. But he should be a guard or tackle since he can't snap the ball. Or maybe he can go to a team that is running mostly under-center formations.

Yep, I would like to see us get him, he don’t have to play center.
