In one interview, and I can’t remember which, coach said he wouldn’t let NIL upset the team dynamic by letting one or two guys make way more than everyone else. Not sure if this is the case but it did strike me when I heard him say it.

I’ve said it before but the transfer rule is the issue coupled with NIL. Guys being able to leave immediately or when a coaching change happens creates chaos.

You don't see the major problem that Alabama NIL cannot outbid other teams for the best player on Alabama's team?
Without Saban, NIL will be huge and Alabama is severely lacking right now.

The issue here is that we are basically the only school open and we have an elite roster and most of the kids coaches are gone. We are basically having to bid against all of college football without Saban as head coach and they are desperate to break up this roster. It is what it, we are at at a disadvantage. DeBoer is going to have to get in next season and win and recruit. I don't see this being a long term issue for us not being able to compete. It is just a really bad set of circumstances and the sharks are circling. I guarantee there is more money on the table for players than there was before Saban left.
