Dumbest move yet. KDB/Grubbs use the TE a ton in Washington's offense.

With the incoming staff and outgoing WRs, Niblack was due for a big uptick in production.

maybe these offense guys are thinking their best bud milroe wont be the starter next year. so they're busting a move. or...maybe they're worried he might be the starter again, hmm...

One of our families closest friends was hit by a semi-truck earlier this week. He is miraculously going to recover. So between that and an in-law fighting cancer, plus trying to work, have I missed anything important this week?

Damn, your family has had a hell of a week.

Saban retired. We hired Kalen Deboer. He’s being his OC, OL, WR, and CB coaches from Washington. Bond, Rick’s, Kite, and Niblack have all transferred. T-Rob left to go be the Co- DC at UGA.

Depending on who you ask, we either hit a home-run or our pets heads are falling off.

Are all official transfers? I thought only Bond. Others just in the portal.

You missed that TRob was hired as Co-DC by UGA, but interviewed with Bama today

Regarding CKD
I told my wife during the second half of the PAC 10 Championship game that I like that guy. I like how he carries himself. I am also happy for Saban and his family. They have worked hard and gave it all they had.

I went back 10 pages on the board and couldn't find the "Other teams" thread, so I'm putting this here:

quote:

The current expectation is that Miami defensive lineman Jamil Burroughs won’t be a part of the program moving forward, sources tell @GabyUrrutia247 and me for @247Sports.

Burroughs, a former Alabama transfer, had transferred to Miami in August.

Yuuuuup...

quote:

Burroughs reportedly struck assistant strength coach and former Alabama defensive lineman Josh Chapman after an argument surrounding the use of gel pellet guns. Tsoukalas reported that Burroughs and other Crimson Tide players were play-fighting with the toy weapons at Bryant Hall when police were called to the scene — as well as Chapman. The other players involved were cooperative — Burroughs apparently was not, striking Chapman in the process.

From Tom VanHaaren of ESPN:
quote:

I was told that Alabama freshman Caleb Downs hasn’t made a decision on his future yet, if he’ll stay or transfer.

He’d like to see who’s added to the Bama defensive staff, but very likely could make a decision either way tomorrow. Travaris Robinson staying at Georgia factors in.

Chris Lowe retweeted it. Has to have some truth for him to do that.
