Yes, we sucked in that game and still nearly won with 6 turnovers.
A bit of context for you. OU is a very young team right now. The incoming class is top 6 and a lot of talent to be infused next year. And the next. QB was in his first start.
OU went from 6-7 to 10-3 in one year after Riley decimated the program. The future looks good.

Looked like Arizona St had OUs number throughout the 4th Q. You act like OU just gave the ball away without help. ASU made some plays and took it away. Last interception was legit. Hit on QB and fumble was a 3 man rush and was a legit forced fumble.
Was not an "almost win". Good grief.

We're a very young team. The future looks good with all of the incoming talent. Shoring up our D line with more 4 and 5 star players, the #1 running back in the nation, and a 5 star QB. That's all I'm saying here big boy.

I truly had no idea Texas hurt Missouri this bad when they left the big 12, but I guess that’s how you feel when you’re 6-18 against another team

We are SEC ready, taking from Bama comments in a prior bowl game “we didn’t want to be there”. Isn’t that how it works?
We’ll be fine and Jackson can sling the ball. The fumble six changed the game. Go up 31-13 but it turns to 24-21. Everything that went wrong is coachable and fixable.
We had 1 QB and no real servicable backup. We had 2 RBs and Sawchuk got dinged up so they reduced his runs afterwards. Our other RB is a walkin who is in the portal but still played. Thats all the depth we had at RB and its why we passed so much. And our oline is not what you will see next year, all but 2 were making first starts and our center got hurt early so then it was 4 of 5 newbies. And a new OC who had to use existing system not his.
All that said and only the turnovers cost game. We had 562 yards to their 383. Amazing to get that many with 6 turnovers.
Bad way to lose but amazing to be in a game and have the win at our grasp in 3rd qtr, if not for fumble 6.
Bowl games these days are all wild cards due to portal and NIL. Not like old days, its basically a one-off game with so many mew faces. But some teams had very few losses like Arizona so that helps them with consistency.
Get yer jokes in but we’ll be ready next year with another top class.

Not everyone accepts the LSU line that bowl games don't mean anything and quitting on your team is just a fine thing to do. Our Heisman winning QB and other 1st round picks played in the Sugar Bowl last year, they cared.
