A&M wants no part of Texas. They don’t want to play them ever again. Heading back to the Big 12 will solve this issue. A&M can have more success in the new Big 12 and with the new additions joining the Big 12…. it really is not that bad of a conference. A&M has a ton of money so they don’t have to rely on the SEC payday. Should A&M just go back to the Big 12?

Aggy sucked there and they suck here. Why bother going back for less money?

We've put up with them for this long. It's about to get entertaining when Texas joins the conference.

Did not attend A&M, he would just stay as a fan of some other team.

Says who? We offered to resume the rivalry right after we left and the longhorns said no (and encouraged other Texas schools to not play us if I remember right). Then when they tried to renew it several years later we had a full schedule.

We didn’t come to the SEC to get away from Austin, we saw that the Big 12 was a weaker conference and jumped ship to a better one. Sure we wanted them to stay in the big 12 and forge our own path here, who wouldn’t want their in state rival playing in a weaker conference and you can just match up in a non conference or bowl game? (I.e. Florida and Florida St). A&M is not going back to an imploding conference.

All Aggies still think the SEC is jealous of their traditions and money. It’s pretty hilarious

aggy managed to win the Big12 exactly one time in their 16 years in the conference and one of their two best seasons in the SEC (still never winning anything of note) was with players recruited to play in the Big12. Why would they have more success going back now?

Idk. I enjoyed my trip to Columbia this year. They’re a little weird but it was a nice road trip IMO
