Yeah, but lets not act like our offense is good. It's good enough to win obviously but it's hard to watch. In the past, our offense was punishing but it was aesthetically pleasing too.

Oh ok, thanks Shaft.

And, Milroe still isn't a QB. He's still a RB playing QB.

I still wouldn't call this murderball. Your 2015-2018 teams were still much better than this one.
This 2019-now run has been a product of Saban's coaching more so than having more talent than everyone else.

Yes.. I know this strategy quite well.. in fact, Texas used it against Alabama at BDS before taking a mercy knee.
Indeed they did. See you in Houston.

Murder ball is your argument for being laughed at all year. You barely had a total of 300 yards and GA outgained you the for the whole game. If not for a missed FG and a fumble on the 11 yard line, you lose Take your gift from Bobo and be happy because it likely won't happen again
Bama took two mercy knees to close the game in FG range and were moving the ball at will late in the 4th quarter. Could easily have tacked on 3-7 points had we needed to. Also dropped 3 interceptions. Game could have gotten out of hand. Better team won. Enjoy the Orange Bowl.

Alabama has the exact same problem on the O-Line they clearly exhibited against Texas.
McLaughlin at center is absolutely mistake prone under any sort of real pressure. He has NOT improved in pressure situations. He had several key errors against Auburn that were of the exact same type against Texas.
He is the key to beating Alabama up front.

Alabama has faced Georgia under Kirby Smart 6 times and won 5 of those meetings. I don't think you understand the meaning of "likely."

Like Texas did in Tuscaloosa on 9/13?

He is the weak link on our offense. Word has it he had hand/wrist surgery right before the season and has been battling through. A month off could be huge. Even so, I think Texas is going to find this is not the same team they beat in September.

Yep, exactly like that

Alabama had 306 total yards and UGA had 321, so you don't have anything to boast about either. Your supposedly potent offense looked pretty sad vs a good defense.

Took a while but they steadily improved every game.
Then explain most of the Auburn and UGA games. Milroe still misses wide open receivers though he'll make clutch plays too. The qb is inconsistent, so also is the offensive production, which is around middle of the conference. If not for the defense we wouldn't be in the playoffs.
edit to laugh at LSU and other rival fans that said Golding wasn't a problem

The weak link in your offense is Milroe. I won't be surprised if Saban is sniffing around the portal for an experienced QB who can pass the ball and read a defense. It would be the right thing to do. If you can upgrade you do so.

Like the rest of the OL it was pretty damn good the last 1/3 of the season once they got settled and Roberts entered the lineup. It certain took a while to materialize, but we pushed the LOS from about the 2nd half of the Tennessee game forward.
Good enough for me. You certainly watched a lot more Alabama football than I did, so I certainly bow to your observation.

no he won't. Team chemistry and all that. That said, a good and consistent balanced offense would be awesome.
